Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen
Matthew 28:10
Faith Community impacts the world through the efforts of our indigenous global partners who are multiplying disciples and meeting spiritual, physical, and emotional needs of our brothers and sister in third world countries through various community development initiatives as church planting, refugee care, child sponsorship, pastor training / equipping, delivering fresh water, business development, education, and more.
Several times per year we connect with one of our mission groups during our Sunday service via live video and audio. Missioinaries can provide updates and needs to the congragation while the congragation also gets to talk live with the missionaries they support.
Few countries can match the cultural diversity of Papua New Guinea, whose 7 million people speak more than 800 languages, and live mostly in rural, indigenous communities. Bill and Jen Morlang have been serving there since 2009 as part of Ethnos360. Bill is the son of Julie Bates. Bill and Jen both love the physical aspect of missions – building, supply buying, managing guesthouse. They are trusting God to use their lives and willing hearts to build His church. As for their ministries in Papua New Guinea, Bill and Jen do whatever the Lord brings their way! They find that this is the safe answer. Bill and Jen know that they can say that they are going to help with building and maintenance and help with the guest home, but they know that it can be so much more than that. Bill and Jen desire to build relationships with the people there and see them come to know the Lord. They hope to fill any gaps that the Lord opens up for them. Bill and Jen know that by His strength, grace and wisdom they need to be open to a variety of ministries. Please support them. They are asking for our prayers and if possible, financial assistance. If your heart is moved by their work and you would like to make a donation, you can do so by clicking on the title and visit their bio page on Ethnos360. Or you can make a donation through Faith Community Church.
"For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me."
Matthew 25:35-36
In May 2020, Faith Community Church embarked upon a new ministry opportunity -- to support Sohail and Shumaila and her ministry team in Okara, Pakistan bring the gospel message of Jesus Christ to children in the village of 11-4L. As of September 2022 this ministry now includes 7 villages! This ministry began through the support of the late David Balistreri. It was in his heart to provide the children of Pakistan with the gospel and food. We have created a fund in David's memory to support missions in Pakistan. More than a monthly Sunday School program, Shumaila also provides them with a hot meal. Our partnership has expanded to include supplying the children with Bibles. They all get the opportunity to hear praise and worship, preaching and a hot meal. Periodically, we provide support for a full Christian service that includes the adults in the village. We have also helped Sohail and Shumaila provide much needed clothing, shoes, toiletries and fresh water to the neediest.
This is only the beginning of our journey. Shumaila and her team have expanded to working with seven villages: 8 4-L, 9 4-L, 10 4-L and 11 4-L. Together, our vision is to build much needed water filtration and treatment facilities and create greater educational opportunities for children to bring them out of poverty and give them a brighter future. This could include building a school and creating an education fund. We hope you will join us in the journey!
In November 2020, Faith Community Church embarked upon a new ministry opportunity -- to support Mike and Ginger Greene and their ministry team in Pavana, Honduras that allows North Americans to work alongside local Honduran churches in bringing glory to Jesus Christ. Our involvement began through the support of Barbara Krauss. It is her heart's desire to provide families in Honduras with the gospel and a home to live. We have created a fund in Barb's honor to support missions in Honduras. This fund supports the Greene's ministry to provide short-term mission trip opportunities for teams to be witnesses for Jesus Christ, while building homes for Honduran families. The people and families they help are usually living in housing that is either adobe, stick built, plastic, or they do not have a home at all. As ministry leaders, the Greenes validate property ownership prior to the ministry team constructing a home, and partner with Honduran churches and members of the community along the way. The cost for a team to build a home is $3,500, which includes all materials to build a block home with a concrete floor, roof, 2 doors, and 2 windows. Contact us to get more information on how to support this ministry, or to organize a team and join us in building a home for a Honduran family.

UPDATE!: As of March 2022 the congregation of Faith Community Church has built 14 complete houses in Honduras! On December 5th 2021 the Greens gave a talk about their missionary experience in Honduras (press the link directly below to see this session). At the end of this service the congragation of Faith Community Church rose to a challenge put out by Pastor Ammerman and in ten minutes raised enough money to build three more houses at $3,500 each. God is at work through our missions.
